register-here

March 23 and 30, 2017

Sitterson Hall, Computer Science Department, UNC Chapel Hill

What

Our goal for the symposium is to introduce undergraduate students to various research areas and encourage students, especially women, to explore the opportunities they have for doing research, whether as part of their undergraduate curriculum or by pursuing a graduate degree. We also want to offer a space for graduate students to share their experiences and their research and to become more familiar with the work their peers are doing.  Come join students, researchers, and professionals from the Triangle and nearby areas to learn more about what you can do with Computer Science and related fields.

  • Hear about exciting research projects that students are working on in a wide variety of computing areas
  • Ask questions about the experiences of women in computing
  • Learn about resources that can help you lead a successful career in computing, or aid you as you take computing-related courses
